LIDA QUÍMICA is a company, which has new ideas and challenges for a smart agriculture. Since we have set up our company, we have been aware that the modern farming needs products with a specific action that would improve any engineer or help any farmer. We are also conscious of the need of developing the techniques to get better fruit and production.

We use the most modern methods to suggest concrete, innovative and profitable solutions in the nutrition and plant protection fields. These methods are suitable with the environment to get healthy crops and cultivate with the latest techniques to get the most important profit.

No doubt that research and development are required to innovate and bring new technologies into the farming world.

Lidaquímica is committed to the new technologies In the last years, LIDA QUIMICA has committed itself to a development of new lines of research on crop treatment. This research would be based on the knowledge of the physiological mechanisms of the plant development, but also on the action biochemical process and the response of the plant to different kinds of biotic and non biotic stress that alter the crop quality and production

The main objective is to identify which substances the plant creates and how it uses them during biochemical sign stages. These different stages cause changes during the plant growth and development, adaptation and defense against hostile environments, as well.
Current research lines:
  • The thermal stress and its influence on flowering and setting.
    - isolation of substances that act as molecule indicators of defense and adaptation
    with low and high temperatures
  • Fruit maturation mechanisms
    - increase of the endogenous levels in the hydrocarbon substances and the influence on the ethylene synthesis.
  • Root protection mechanisms
  • Fruit development at the enzyme level
  • Process used in the fruit aging
